The Hacking Games: The Ethical Fork in the Road Facing Gen Z: How Can We Inspire Gen Z to Become Ethical Hackers in Modern Workplaces

Wednesday, April 30th, 04:00 PM PDT

The W Hotel San Francisco

Join Veracode and The Hacking Games for an educational happy hour event on how
we can inspire, educate and equip the next generation to be defenders and not
attackers. With $23.8 trillion forecasted to be lost to Cybercrime in 2027 and 80% of
NYC teenagers having hacked by age of 16, we are facing a generational crisis. We
will discuss the challenges faced with a society of young adults and teenagers
falling into cybercrime, and what we can do about it at a societal, technological and
law enforcement level.

At the Hacking Games, we’re developing HAPTAI, an AI skills and character insights
platform that builds a ‘whole person’ profile of candidates to match roles to a
candidate’s skills and aptitude. Employers get de-risked ethical hackers, perfectly
matched to skills needs, quickly, affordably and for little effort. This is part of our
effort to inspire kids to see hacking as a force for good and therefore securing our
future online.

The panel event will feature:

About the Hacking Games Enterprise:
The Hacking Games is a global multi-media entertainment, training and recruitment
enterprise committed to creating a generation of Ethical Hackers making the world
safer.

The Hacking Games will build, educate and recruit the ethical hacking workforce of
the future to reduce the labor deficit.

With the cost of Cybercrime forecasted to be $23trn in 2027, and 80% of NYC Teens
polled having tried hacking before they were 16 years old, we are facing a
generational crisis.

We believe that the perception of hacking needs to be reframed from criminal to
creative and constructive, and an ethical code developed to guide this generation to
make the right decisions.

To do this we are creating global entertainment properties (Global TV shows and
Documentaries) under the brand The Hacking Games.
